Why Beautiful Beginning?

Kingston’s smallest classes (lends itself to an informal, intimate class where you can ask lots of questions & the classes can better suit your needs)

One instructor (provides consistency, quality and that small town personal touch)

Practice of coping skills & comfort measures are given extra emphasis so you will be very familiar with the tools you need for labour

Classes like Beautiful Beginning Childbirth Education have been shown in studies to decrease length of labour, decrease fear and increase fulfillment throughout the birthing process. At Beautiful Beginning classes you are respected as the unique woman that you are. You are provided with information and encouraged to make your own decisions.

Emphasis is on natural coping skills and labour as a natural process. If you are planning a natural birth, these classes are ideal for you. If you want medication in labour, these classes are of great benefit to you as well. The skills learned will help you reach the stage in your labour when you may be able to receive narcotics or an epidural. Occasionally, neither is available, so it is good to be prepared.

Plugged In is a Focus on the Family publication designed to help equip parents, youth leaders, ministers and teens with the essential tools that will enable them to understand, navigate and impact the culture in which they live. Entertainment is a potent influence on our culture for both good and evil. Through our reviews and discussions of that entertainment, we hope to spark intellectual thought, family discussion, spiritual growth and a strong desire to follow the command of Colossians 2:8. "See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the basic principles of this world rather than on Christ."
